Website Evaluations

Hey group,
So this week we need to start evaluating different websites we find online using the given rubric on Elearning. We each have to find three different ones so lets make sure we post which websites we are going to be using so that we do not have any repeats. I want to browse for some websites that go more in depth about the different types of weather and why weather monitoring and elements  of weather are so important to learn about. We have to submit all three of our website evaluations to one person in the group and they have to add all of our documents as one and submit it for our group. I am interested to find out what websites you think will be beneficial. Talk to you guys soon.

  1. When you find the websites you want to evaluate, make sure you post them in the blog so we know that it's already been evaluated. Good luck and I can't wait to continue learning about weather monitoring!

  3. Hey group hope your evaluations are going good. I am using the following websites..... www.accuweather.com, http://www.education.noaa.gov/, and http://www.scholastic.com/teachers/article/predicting-weather.
Jordan I will have my evaluations sent to you by tonight..
For the concept map I was thinking our big idea should be "Predicting the Weather" I am not sure if that is in the correct direction but let me know. Thanks!

  4. Hey group,

Just wanted to let you guys know, the websites I evaluated were: www.weather.com, www.weatherspark.com, and www.weather.gov. They all seemed to be great resources for weather monitoring. I received Michelle's evaluations and I'm still waiting on Rachel's evaluations so I can put them all on one document and submit it in the dropbox. Thanks!
